Sonoma State University's Environmental Forum, hosted by the new Department of Geography, Environment, and Planning connects faculty and local practitioners to students and the larger SSU community around the themes of local and regional community engagement, environmental sustainability, globalization, and diversity. The Environmental Forum presents weekly talks for students and the public that is at the cutting edge of research and solutions related to climate change, sustainable food systems, renewable energy, community participation in sustainability, watershed restoration, and more. Lectures take place on Thursdays, 12:05-12:55 p.m. in Ives Hall 101. Admission is free and open to the public; parking is $5-$8 on campus.
