Sonoma State University's chamber ensemble-in-residence Navarro Trio will close out their 25th season on campus with pieces from Beethoven, Taneyev and Dvořák in Schroeder Hall at the Green Music Center, April 23 at 2 p.m.
Navarro Trio co-founders and SSU music professors pianist Marilyn Thompson and cellist Jill Brindel are joined by two members of the San Francisco Symphony, violinist Victor Romasevich and guest violinist Wayne Roden. The ensemble will play a little-known Beethoven quartet that was written when he was merely 15 years old. The program will conclude with Dvořák's most beloved works for piano, violin and cello, the "Dumky" Trio. Tickets are $8 for general admission (parking included), free to SSU students.
