SSU Geology Lecture Series Brings Exciting Topics Like the Galapagos Islands, Central Californian Coast, Alaska and More to Campus

The Galapagos Islands

Sonoma State University's Geology Lecture Series brings speakers from all around Northern California to the Rohnert Park campus including a special lecture by Professor Matt James on his new book Collecting Evolution: The Galapagos Expedition that Vindicated Darwin. James will speak about his experiences visiting the Galapagos and talking about his unique research he was able to obtain from the California Academy of Sciences, where he is a Fellow.

Lectures are in Darwin 128 at noon on Wednesday. Cookies and Coffee are served. All are welcome to join the speaker for an informal lunch on campus at Overlook after the talk. Admission is free, parking is $5-$8 on campus.
