Sonoma State softball player Mayleen Mazon has been named Player of the Week by the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), Hillary Fazekas has been named women's tennis Player of the Week by the Pacific West Conference, and goalkeeper Andrea Mallul has been named the KAP7 Player of the Week by the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) for the week of April 6-12.

Seawolves Suffer Four-Game Sweep in Carson
Sonoma State's baseball team got on the board in the first inning with a sacrifice fly to center field, but the Seawolves fell behind in the third and were unable to catch up in Sunday's 4-2 defeat, allowing Cal State Dominguez Hills to complete their four-game sweep. The Seawolves see their CCAA record drop to 14-18 and 20-21 overall.

Offensive Surge Propels Sonoma State To Doubleheader Sweep
The Sonoma State softball team brought their hitting shoes to Seawolf Softball Field on Saturday as they combined for a season-high 25 runs in a 16-1 game one victory and a 9-0 win in game two. Both of the victories induced the mercy rule after the top of the fifth inning. Sonoma State improves its record to 21-10 in CCAA and 35-16 overall.

Seawolves Finish Fifth at Championship
Despite Seawolf Brandon Lee finishing three-under par on Monday, the Sonoma State men's golfteam was stopped just short in its quest to advance to match play at the 2015 CCAA Men's Golf Championship at Brookside Country Club in Stockton--just two strokes back of the final qualifier. The Seawolves finished fifth out of a field of eight.

Sarah Rotter Leads Seawolves to Interwest Chico State Title
Spurred by an individual medalist performance by Sarah Rotter, the Sonoma State women's golfteam cruised to a three-stroke victory on Monday at the Interwest Chico State Invitational at Butte Creek Country Club in Chico. The season-ending win could be big for the Seawolves as they look to clinch a spot in the NCAA West Regional. Sonoma State is awaiting word from the NCAA selection committee if it will participate in the regional.

Seawolves End Season with Tough Loss
The Sonoma State women's tennis team saw their season end in heartbreaking fashion on Friday as Point Loma Nazarene came from behind to stun the Seawolves 5-4 at the Pacific West Conference Championships in Surprise, Arizona. The Seawolves, ranked 24th in the nation in the most recent ITA rankings, finish 2015 at 16-9 overall for their fourth winning season in five years.

Seawolves Fall To Holy Names In PacWest Fifth Place Game
Despite winning two of three doubles matches, the Sonoma State men's tennis team stumbled in singles play as 41st-ranked Holy Names came back for a 5-4 win in the fifth place game on Saturday morning at the Pacific West Conference Championships in Surprise, Arizona. The Seawolves conclude their 2015 season with a 5-15 overall record.
Women's Water Polo
Seawolves Dropped By UC Davis In Regular Season Finale
The Sonoma State women's water polo team finished off the regular season on Saturday with a 10-1 loss to the UC Davis Aggies at Schaal Aquatics Center in Davis. The loss leaves the Seawolves at 8-18 overall heading into next weekend's Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
